Infrared Thermometer
This device offers an expanded temperature range from -58 to 932˚F (-50 to 500˚C), allowing for precise and accurate measurements without the need to make contact with the target surface. It should be noted that it is not intended for human temperature calculations. With a 12:1 field of view, this thermometer allows for measurements to be taken accurately from greater distances. The backlit color LCD displays the surface temperature, maximum temperature, battery life, and the unit of temperature in either ˚F or ˚C. The circular laser indicator provides users with a precise indication of where the laser is pointing at any given time. The accuracy of the device is ±2°C (4°F) or ±2% of the reading, while the emissivity is 0.95 and the resolution is 0.1°F / 0.1°C. The thermometer also features an automatic power-off function after 15 seconds, which helps to extend the battery life of the 2 AAA batteries.
